As discussed yesterday evening, I would make the calculations for a VMI with min. 1 week and max. 2 or 2.5 weeks.

I woke up early this morning to do the calculations, but the program doesn't make the calculations.

 

I am going to Ghent now for a congress and normally I will be back at home around 3PM. I will try again then to make the calculations and to send them to you.

Hello all,

I have increased a bit the pallet places in the outbound warehouse, as its utilization rate was too high.

I have chosen to use 2 projects to decrease water usage (about 30%) and decrease energy usage by 40%.

The rest at the moment seems ok

This morning, I got a call from Annelies, so I tried to calculate the contract indexes with VMI but, like Annelies already experienced, the program doesn't make the calculations. I sent her a message. Is it an option to choose always 1-2weeks for VMI (because we can't calculate)?

Dear all,

 

Please find in attachment the decisions for purchasing given in the system.

 

The supplier development program is implemented for the components iPET and Oranges. Because reliability and quality should improve with this program, a lower reliability is negotiated.

My suggestion would be to do the same with the component mango, but I can't make a deal because according the program only 3 collaboration projects could be initiated. (In my opinion, we only have initiated 2 projects so far...).

 

Regarding the VIM for stock management: Patricia and I are not able to make any calculations, and thus we are also not able to make any deals with the suppliers about the implementation of VIM...

 

I have sent an email to Mr. Willems to inform him about these problems.

 

I suggest Supply Chain Management cares for the stock management until the problem at the level of purchasing is solved.

Hello all!

Good news - our stategic and structured approach has paid back and we have a positive result.

We have sold more goods, our penalties are lower than the last round. we still have some service level penalties, but for to CO2 we have even received some bonus.

Also our emissions have decreased.

We are back on track. Congratulations on the good job all!
