I have already composed a small list of tasks to do for The Fresh Connection game (feel free to correct or complete, I am not perfect ;-):

• HR assignment: no problem, I already have a group
• Register 'The BELATVINDO' on Pointcarre for OML: OK for me (since we seem to be 8 now, this can be done as soon as possible)
• I suggest we all read the documents and test the Trial Version this week: www.thefreshconnection.be
• I propose to post your comments and remarks on the Trial Version to all team members (communication is very important and we will all learn from each other's experiences)
• We need to decide on the roles in the team (I suggest by this weekend): 2 peopole VP Supply Chain (from which 1 CEO Team Leader), 2 VP Purchasing, 2 VP Operations and 2 VP Sales
• I propose we all express our personal interest in at least 2 roles. Like this, we should easily be able to fix the roles. If someone has another idea to distribute the roles, I'm all ears. I'll start with my own personal interest: VP Purchasing or VP Supply Chain.
• The CEO Team Leader needs to collect €25,- from everyone and he or she needs to make the payment of €200,- to the university (deadline: Monday February 18th)
• We need to think about our strategy in the game: low cost or high responsiveness? We can discuss this next week in class (this is not urgent), but it might be a good idea if everyone already reflects on the issue.
• I am always available if we need to organize a team meeting (preferably on working days after 6 p.m. or in the weekend).

Let us know if they are willing to leave the group voluntary.

With all due respect to our fellow students, but if they join a group without asking the original team members, their removal from the group shoud be unannounced too. They are putting Annelies en Aline in a difficult situation now, because payments need to be made as soon as possible.

Don't worry, Aline. We will insist to the assistant (and if necessary to the professor) that you (and Annelies) make part our group.

 

For the payment: I understand 1 person (the team leader) has to make the € 200,- payment to the VUB. The other team members pay to the team leader € 25,-.

Is someone able to advance € 200,- and make the payment today? We can next week collect the € 25,- per person. Is that a good idea?

 

I could advance the € 200,- payment today for our team (with Aline & Annelies in the team, not the other 2). You can than all pay me back next week.

 

Or has someone else another idea?

They need to unsubscribe themselfs voluntary or the assistant has to remove them.

 

There is 1 alternative: we organize to unsubscribe us all together from group 18 and choose a completely new empty group on Pointcarre. But I don't know if this is realistic?
