Since posting his first LEGO gun online at age 13, Jack Streat has played an influential role in the LEGO weapons builder community. In his spare time he modifies guitars in a never-ending quest to make them as loud as possible. Streat wrote this, his first book, when he was 18 years old.
LEGO Heavy Weapons is a good book for not just learning how to make realistic LEGO weapons, but to also see how advanced mechanical things can be built with LEGO bricks. The book is very informational and well organized, and I look forward to attempting to build models from the book.
If you have any ideas please feel free to make them following the rules which are
1) They must have a heavy a medium and two light weapons.
2) They must be Lego appropriate.
3) They must be original.
You can make up your own weapons just tell me what they are. Images must be yours. You will be given credit for your model. If you want to send an image comment here with your e-mail and I will message you. Or provide a link to a website with your image on it. Please check out and support some projects that if were excepted would make the product tons better these are: Power Functions Programable sound brick and Micro Power Function (XS-motor, battery, valve, ...)
17-year-old Jack Streat has accomplished something some people spend a lifetime reaching for: he's a published author. Streat's book, "LEGO Heavy Weapons: Build Working Replicas of Four of the World's Most Impressive Guns", was released in May by indie publisher No Starch Press. The book features detailed drawings and explanations on how to build highly sophisticated working models of 4 assault weapons, including the Desert Eagle handgun, among others. Wikinews interviewed Jack, to learn more about his passion for building.

Even the bloodiest, most ferocious action titles over the years would turn pale when faced with the arsenal found in Gothic II. Publisher JoWooD has today released details of the 150 (that's 150) weapons found in this RPG epic. Each of them will require specific strength and dexterity prerequisites, and they all vary in effect - as you might expect though, they aren't all to be found in a big bundle behind a tree somewhere...
And if you won't be content with that, rest assured that a number of other fearsome-sounding weapons lurk within Gothic II, including heavy spiked cudgels, bone crushers and even a heavy battle hammer, which sounds frankly terrifying. Then there are bows, crossbows of all sorts and other ranged weapons. What more could you want?
