Im new to Django. I just laid out a new project to teach myself how routing works. I have a template that works like a 'detail view' to show information about an item in my database, and that template includes a button that should allow you to 'edit' this item. Clicking the button gives me:

And finally, here is the view that the edit path should call. I'm aware that the logic is probably not right when it comes to rendering a form with data that already exists and all that, I'm really just trying to get this URL to work before I do some more reading on that.

Fixed the issue by sending the ID back from the second template as described below, I then realized that I was not sending the ID in as part of the context when I first rendered the second template. After fixing both this works as expected. Thank you!

I'm having an issue with InDesign, it keeps randomly crashing and when I to get a file open 'you cannot reverse this change with the edit > undo command' keeps popping up everytime I do anything. Has anyone come across this before?

I recently took over eLearning duties for my company. I have built courses before, but never SCORM packages. After a switch of LMS's I was handed the courses as SCORM packages. There are errors in the courses that I need to go in and fix, but I don't have anything but the zipped SCORM files. I have the full Articulate Suite, don't know if that makes any difference. How do I go in and fix these courses that were engineered in Articulate and then zipped up if I don't have anything but the zipped files with what seems - to the computer layperson - to be a lot of random pieces?

I had to get the original author to send them to me which was going to take a while so I wanted to see if there was any way to edit from the files I had. I got the script files though so I can edit from those. thank you for the input!

Hello Kelly, if the courses were developed in Articulate '09, be sure to ask the original author to send you the Articulate Packages for the courses. This will be a ZIP file that contains all the assets that are built into the course, like Engage Interactions, Quizmaker Quizzes, logos, playlists, and most importantly, the narration, along with any animation timings that were set.

Dave raises a good point regarding Articulate Packages - the best option if you can get them. IME not many authors think to use that feature though - so it's easy to end up with just the original PPT and a bunch of 'objects' (images, audio files, videos, attachments, QM and Engage interactions, etc).

I found myself in a very similar situation when I took this job. Ultimately I ended up and am in the process of re-creating all of the courses using Studio '09. While you can edit the javascript, xml, html files, there's not much you can do in the way of changing content without the original Articulate files. If they weren't developed using Articulate, as in my case, you're completely hosed and end up having to re-create them from scratch which often means finding other ways to things.

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I am having the same issue: need to edit the course so that it completes. I don't know what Articulate is, all i have are a bunch of flash and java script files. I MAY have the source code, but not sure what to look for.

If the course was created in Storyline, you would have a single source file that has the extension .story (like mylesson.story). If the course was created in Presenter, you would have a source file that has the extension .ppt or pptx (like mylesson.ppt) AND a source file that has the extension .ppta.

So, the source file for a Storyline lesson is a single file (with the extension .story). For a Presenter lesson the source is two files (ppt and ppta). If what you have are a bunch of files and folders, lots of mp3 and mp4 and swf and xml files, then you do NOT have the source file - you have the published files. You cannot edit the published files in any practical way and you are out of luck. You would have to rebuild the lessons.

I am in the same boat. My boss thinks I can make corrections (spelling, out-of-sync narration) to the zipped files submitted a few years ago by an outside contractor. If I understand you correctly, I need the source files to do this. Even IF I get them, do I just go into the PPT and make the changes and re-save? How do I adjust HIS narration in the cases where it is out of order?

How you edit the source file will depend on which Articulate product was used to create the finished product. Each Articulate application functions differently. If you can, find out which Articulate product was used and get the source file, then I (or someone else) can jump in and help you make the changes.

Some nginx documentation and configuration snipets tells that Websockets need to run on another port, but as you stated the websockets runs on the same port.

When running both on the same port however some documentation then tells that websockets needs to run on another path than the http stuff (examples http stuff on servername.domain.com:8080/xwiki/ and web socket stuff on servername.domain.com:8080/websocketstuff/) to switch the proxy forwarding. Which is not something that brought me closer to a solution.

However for Nginx with xwiki + Realtime Editing I found the super simple solution here by coincidence: How to use Nginx as a Reverse proxy for HTTPS and WSS - Self Signed Certificates and Trusted Certificates (linkedin.com)

Ok so now after hitting a wall with SSL I thought lets see how Confluence handles it which his very interesting:

Running Confluence behind NGINX with SSL Confluence Data Center and Server 8.6 Atlassian Documentation

Their nginx configuration is nearly the same with the proxy headers for http 1.1 and connection upgrade.

However Confluence cleanly seperate their Realtime Colaborative Editing engine (Synchrony) into another port aswell as another location so that reverse proxys can handle things without too difficult configurations.

NEVERMIND:

When Enabling SSL you HAVE TO edit the xwiki.cfg and tell XWiki that it is running on SSL as well as the server name, otherwise the Websockets are still sent on http (port 80) from XWiki. Actually this makes quite sense.

Please note, that this is an quite minimal configuration so you should take it with an grain of salt. My knowledge about nginx and xwiki are currently still quite limited. This configuration should help as a baseline.

If you have tips on how to improve / secure the configuration I would be very glad to hear them!

Just found out I had a sample playing reverse, which I have not set to do (or not that I now.) Been reading that its possible to reverse samples in the audio editor, but can figure out how. Any suggestions?

My current project would be easier to work with if there was a keyboard short cut for reverse direction while editing features or creating new. I find the short cut key for most of the other options while editing except reverse direction, am I missing something or does this not exist i version ArcGISPro 2.2?

But one thing, is it best to have a separate branch for the test site and the main site? As I realized it when I have a different code for test site in vs code and now I can't edit my main site because it is my test site code.

Whether you want to reveal a hidden message in the audio or recreate a scene from Tenet, this easy online tool will help you reverse your video in just a few clicks. Kapwing works in real time, so you can play your reversed video immediately, but it also supports exporting a reversed video which will let you download and share the backwards version.

Sometimes, we need to apply a backwards effect in videos to show the impossible, or just to play with time. You've come to the right place if you're looking for an easy way to reverse your video or audio online.

Reversing a video is one of the prime ways to make an eye-catching effect from your content. Viewers aren't used to seeing time move backwards so many creators opt to reverse just a small portion of their clip to create a brief rewind effect. Other creators like turning a sound bite backwards just to see what comes out of it - think of the famous Missy Elliot lyric `Ti esrever dna ti pilf nwod gniht ym tup I` from the hit song "Work It".

Whatever your creative challenge, Kapwing's reverse video tool is here to help you accomplish your goal. Simply upload the content that you wish to reverse, and Kapwing will do the rest. Your video will be played backwards in the preview, but can also be exported for a final, reversed version.

While you're reversing your video, you can also combine this effect with many of Kapwing's other features, including trimming, adjusting volume, adding text, applying animations, and so much more. Our goal is to give creators fast, accessible tools that make their lives easier. Hope that it helps you reverse your videos easily online.

When adding a vertexto the end of a polyline using the grip edit, thereis a 50% chance the vertex will be outside the new polyline or inside it. I wanted to know if there was a transparent command that I could hotkey to swap from inside to outside or (vice versa) like you can do by cycling options with the ctrl key. As it stands right now, if I grip edit and try to add it but it's on the wrong side, I have to escape out of the command and run the reverse polyline command then go back and restart grip editing.

The vertex is added within when at the first vertex grip. It is added beyond when at the last vertex grip. In the case where it does not do what you want, hit escape, then right click the polyline and choose Polyline -> Reverse and then add the vertex beyond (or within) as you wish.

I recently trimmed a voice memo on my iPhone, thinking I could reverse it back to the original state, but now when I wanted to do that, I realized I cannot reverse it back to the original state of recording. Is there anything I can do or is that option just not available on iPhones?
