I can't get our NCM to connect to the inside interface of our 3 ASAs that have firepower enabled. The outside interface works fine. NCM has no problem connecting to the 3 ASAs that don't have firepower. When I do a packet capture, the difference I see is that where it works, the Cisco ASA sends the SSH protocol version right after the TCP handshake is completed. Where it doesn't work, neither side sends the SSH protocol version and the TCP connection times out. Putty has no issue connecting, because it sends it's SSH protocol version right after the TCP handshake completes and then the ASA replies.
For the Royal Navy, which is short on warships and missile launchers, an updated Q-ship could be a cost-effective way to add firepower, according to Peter Clarke of the Royal United Services Institute, a British think tank.
