** Sensitivities to playing in the sand, or with other materials/ food. Clothes that have “tickets” / “scratchy” are annoying. Sensitive to noise, lights, movement.
** Difficulties staying focused and organized during play or schoolwork.
** Has a hard time coping with emotions (meltdowns) & relating to others etc…
I use a mixture of developmental work combined with strategies and skill training to help children reach their potential.

9) Amutat Yated:
As a parent of a child with Down Syndrome, I have been involved with the Amuta Yated for many years and have experienced first hand the amazing work Yated does. Amutat Yated provides:
- an educational counseling program to enable inclusion in regular schools
- a support line for parents providing legal, family and educational advice
- chugim and nofshonim for young adults
- an innovative continued educational and vocational program for post high school graduates
This year, Yated is holding a fundraiser on Sunday 27.3.2016 at 20:00 at the Tel Aviv Museum featuring the singer/composer Rami Kleinstein. Funds raised will go to the continued activities and programs of the Amutah.
Tickets are available at 360, 500, 1000 NIS and are tax deductible.
