Yes, you can absolutely customize the touch controls of your Pixel Buds, but there's a caveat: The only element you'll be able to customize (aside from turning touch controls on or off) is the touch-and-hold gesture that gets initiated when you press and leave a finger over your left or right Pixel Bud.

If you're concerned that you'll lose true wireless earbuds, then go for the Beats Flex wireless earbuds. They're connected by a Flex-Form cable that will hang on your neck if the wireless earbuds fall out of your ears, and they come with four eartip options so you can choose the most comfortable fit. The Beats Flex can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, and they come with on-device controls for music playback, calls, and voice assistants.

The Apple AirPods (2nd generation) may not be the latest AirPods anymore, but they're still pretty good for the price. They take seconds to set up with your iPhone before offering plenty of useful features. For instance, they have in-ear detection, and you can automatically switch between different Apple devices. It's also possible to easily share audio between two sets of AirPods on your Apple devices, while Siri is a 'Hey Siri' away at all times. Battery life is also pretty good for the price with up to five hours of listening time on one charge and up to 24 hours once you factor in the charging case. These AirPods may not be as stylish as newer models but you still get all the useful benefits you'd expect from an Apple product. The longer build means room for onboard controls too, which is handy if you don't want to purely rely on Siri support.

My volume control buttons used to control my media volume. Suddenly they started controlling only notification volume which is really annoying due to having to click multiple buttons to control the thing that is actually making sound in the moment. Did something change?? I can't find anything online about changes to the physical button controls.

How are ANC and Passthrough turned on and off with the Buds Pro? I owned a pair of 2020 Pixel Buds and loved the controls, especially how you had a full control set even when wearing a single bud, but I don't see how they would make room for an ANC/passthrough/neutral toggle without either dumping other controls or making them clunky (quadruple tap, etc)

For example, when I slide a textbox up to another textbox (one above the other), there's 6 pixels of space between the controls. I'd like there to be 5 pixels of space between them when they snap to each other.

There are no snaplines that help you set the spacing between controls, they assist in aligning control edges and text. Instead, the designer pays attention to the Margin property of the control. The default for a Button is (3, 3, 3, 3), it will snap in place creating a 3 pixel gap from the adjacent control.

Obviously there is no option setting. You can however achieve your goal with these two meassures:First: Move the control after the drop with the arrow keys.Second: You could place helper buttons at the left right top or bottom side on your container. Snapline will use these as a reference and if they are spaced 4 pixel your new controls will also be 4 pixel appart. You could also press control with an arrow key to move to the next suggested snapline position.Spacing of down to 1 pixel is possible with this. Finally delete your helper buttons.

There are two different sets of riding controls depending on the enablePointToSteer config option (enabled by default). Riding controls are tied to standard moving controls, and therefore are changed by changing the respective Minecraft controls.

I'm on a new pixel 7 with some new pixel buds pro. I can't find a way to turn off the couch controls for them. I've looked in the settings and it appears that the touch controls setting isn't there. I also can't turn them off through the Google voice assistant menu. Has anyone had/fixed this issue?

Thanks a lot for your feedback, much appreciated!
You are right, I was going to modify my post: you can attribute regions to the script as well in Jinx!, although the minimum width remains 4 pixels for some reason, which is a bit annoying.

The Android app will automatically integrate with the smart home device controls feature on devices running Android 11 or newer that support it. All that is required is that you are able to login to the app and use it remotely.

To get started, open the device controls on your device. It will depend on the device manufacturer and Android version where you'll find them, some common places are: in the quick settings panel, in the notification drawer, or in the power menu. Tap on "Add Controls" and choose the Home Assistant app. All domains listed below will be available to get added to the device controls panel.

On Android 13 and later, you can control the use of added controls when your device is locked. First, make sure you've enabled the option to use device controls when locked in the system settings (Settings app > Display > Lock screen). Now you can use added controls when your device is locked! If you want to change the setting for specific controls or entities, open Home Assistant and go to Settings > Companion app > Manage device controls.

Starting with Android 14, on supported devices you can also show a Home Assistant dashboard instead of the built-in controls when using the device controls feature. Both modes have their own advantages: the built-in controls are easy to use, allow you to manage locked settings for each entity and control multiple servers side by side, while a dashboard supports all Home Assistant features and allows fully customizing the controls to suit your needs. The documentation above describes built-in controls.

To switch between modes, open the app and go to Settings > Companion app > Manage device controls and choose either 'Built-in' or 'Dashboard'. After selecting Dashboard, you can also enter the dashboard path to use (ex: /lovelace/default_view or /lovelace-dashboardname/viewname) to use a different dashboard than the default.

WCAG 2.2 extends WCAG 2.1 by adding new success criteria, definitions to support them, and guidelines to organize the additions. This additive approach helps to make it clear that sites which conform to WCAG 2.2 also conform to WCAG 2.1. The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group recommends that sites adopt WCAG 2.2 as their new conformance target, even if formal obligations mention previous versions, to provide improved accessibility and to anticipate future policy changes.

In order to avoid confusion for implementers for whom backwards compatibility to WCAG 2 versions is important, new success criteria in WCAG 2.2 have been appended to the end of the set of success criteria within their guideline. This avoids the need to change the section number of success criteria from WCAG 2, which would be caused by inserting new success criteria between existing success criteria in the guideline, but it means success criteria in each guideline are no longer grouped by conformance level. The order of success criteria within each guideline does not imply information about conformance level; only the conformance level indicator (A / AA / AAA) on the success criterion itself indicates this. The WCAG 2.2 Quick Reference will provide a way to view success criteria grouped by conformance level, along with many other filter and sort options.

In parallel with WCAG 2.2, the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group is developing another major version of accessibility guidelines. The result of this work is expected to be a more substantial restructuring of web accessibility guidance than would be realistic for dot-releases of WCAG 2. The work follows a research-focused, user-centered design methodology to produce the most effective and flexible outcome, including the roles of content authoring, user agent support, and authoring tool support. This is a multi-year effort, so WCAG 2.2 is needed as an interim measure to provide updated web accessibility guidance to reflect changes on the web since the publication of WCAG 2.0. The Working Group might also develop additional interim versions, continuing with WCAG 2.2, on a similar short timeline to provide additional support while the major version is completed.

If non-text content is a control or accepts user input, then it has a name that describes its purpose. (Refer to Success Criterion 4.1.2 for additional requirements for controls and content that accepts user input.)

If a Web page contains any of the following help mechanisms, and those mechanisms are repeated on multiple Web pages within a set of Web pages, they occur in the same order relative to other page content, unless a change is initiated by the user:

For all user interface components (including but not limited to: form elements, links and components generated by scripts), the name and role can be programmatically determined; states, properties, and values that can be set by the user can be programmatically set; and notification of changes to these items is available to user agents, including assistive technologies.

Opening a new window, moving focus to a different component, going to a new page (including anything that would look to a user as if they had moved to a new page) or significantly re-arranging the content of a page are examples of changes of context.

A CSS pixel is the canonical unit of measure for all lengths and measurements in CSS. This unit is density-independent, and distinct from actual hardware pixels present in a display. User agents and operating systems should ensure that a CSS pixel is set as closely as possible to the CSS Values and Units Module Level 3 reference pixel [css3-values], which takes into account the physical dimensions of the display and the assumed viewing distance (factors that cannot be determined by content authors).

For example, an element which moves into place or changes size while appearing is considered to be animated. An element which appears instantly without transitioning is not using animation. Motion animation does not include changes of color, blurring, or opacity which do not change the perceived size, shape, or position of the element.
