(You can sign up online. It is helpful for us to get a better estimate on the
number of guests, but not required in any way).
**What are we doing?**
Throwing a party. A good one.
Cocktails, wine, gourmet food, good people, many of them.
Plus, there will be prizes you can win!
**Where does the money go?**
This money will be a donation to the two organisations we worked with last
year. Esmabama, which provides schooling and health services in rural areas,
and Kufunana, which develops actions related to HIV/AIDS.
_None of it will go to us, at all_. You can make a direct donation if you
wish, all we do is collect the money and write a check. You can get a receipt
from them for tax-purposes too.
**Can you help?**
Most importantly, bring friends, family, people you barely know but seem to be
nice. Except for other guests, you do not need to bring anything at all.
Just forwarding this email to your friends is a great help! Besides, they'll
thank you for inviting you to this party.
If you do want to do a little more to help, then that is great! Reply to this
email. We would love to get a little bit of help during the event, or before
hand. If you know a local business who can make even a small donation (we can
have it as a prize to raise money), it would be great.
