Hi,
It's been a long time that i was able to send out an email alert.
If you followed the discussions in the Forum you may know that we have done some work at the BLUG website during last month's coding-for-fun. As a result we have fixed email, changed the default hostname (which is now just "beijinglug.org" instead of "www.beijinglug.org") and found a good use for chinalug.org:
Thanks to Bootingman for maintaining a list of linux user groups in china on lug.org.cn.
This months events:
Our monthly meeting this coming Tuesday at the Jazz Island Coffee:
Emily will talk to us about the GNOME.Asia summit.
This meeting will be joined with the Beijing GNOME User group, and we are planning to continue to have joint meetings, and thereby reviving regular meetings for the BJGUG.
Since GNOME and Linux are very closely connected we are almost all interested in similar topics, and i believe that joining our meetings will be for the benefit of all of us.
久违的每月活动又浮出水面了，由于筹备GNOME.asia，好几个月的活动都跳票了，本次大会由北京Linux用户组(BLUG)和北京GNOME用户组(BJGUG)一同携手来举办，欢迎大家来参加！
Emily会对GNOME亚洲峰会做些介绍，本次的活动主题主要围绕着抢票，注册入口马上开放，我们来个抢票动员大会。

5月20号，apache基金会的总裁Ross Gardler将会来京交流访问。
Ross会分享话题《切实可行的开源软件治理结构 (Viable OSS Governance)》
目标参与者是开源社区的组织者。

On May 24th and 25th finally we have the GNOME.Asia Summit and FUDCon:

and don't forget! Every Tuesday is BLUG Tuesday. if we are not that the BLUG meeting, then we meet somewhere else. just for dinner and fun, without any agenda. watch the BLUG site for announcements.
