Behat test with emojis

Hi, I want to write some tests for behat using emojis in my features e.g. for naming a file with an emoji, but i cannot make it work for some reason. I'm using vim or Sublime as editor. Any clue or tip what I could be missing? Is it necessary a previous step/configuration to make Behat deal with emojis? Thanks in advanced.
