Two students in need of financial help to move to college

I'm a 25 year old female. I have been accepted into a post-secondary Business course, but cannot afford to pay first and last months rent on an apartment in the city I'm moving to for college.
I am waiting on a student loan to come through, but since I accepted late to the program and applied late for the loan, I won't get it until the end of September, or possibly even October. My last pay at work will be used to pay off one remaining student debt that will allow me to go back to school. The roommate I am moving in with is in the same boat. We're both in the same program and have grown up together. Even pooling our income isn't meeting anything close to our goal.
The total price of first/last on the place we're looking to secure (In or around September 1st, so about a week) is: $2,000.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, please help us go to college. All we need is F/L rent and maybe a little extra for groceries and furniture until our student loans come in.
