Local Farm Tour Update:

Next Saturday, May 14th, local farmers Craig and Jill Tormoen and family will be hosting a tour at their Vespertine Gardens! The tour starts at 10am. The address is 5470 Spruce Road, Vesper, WI 54489. See a map here.

Vespertine Gardens is a new and expanding CSA farm. The Tormoens got started by selling at farmers markets and creating many opportunities for their members and friends to come to the farm to help with fun activities. They have a greenhouse that will be full of early season greens and other veggies. They also raise many chickens, turkeys, and ducks for their CSA members. They are experimenting with different growing techniques in their heavy clay and often wet soil conditions.
