Hi,
The google group accounts no longer allow you to upload files to share like they used to. The presentations from the course are too big to send as email attachments. So I opened a shared Drop Box folder that I've started putting presentations into. You should get an email inviting you to view that folder and be able to download the presentations from it. Let me know if you didn't get an invitation or you have problems getting them to download. I'll keep adding other presentations and documents as I get them. I think you can also add things to the DropBox folder if you have some resources to share that won't fit in an email.
Cheers,
John

I am not interested in dowloading another software to my computer, is there another way to get the presentations? I am especially interested in Kat's planting excel files.
I also had a thought today about your question on suggestions for future beginning farmer workshops. I think it would be great to have everyone go through an excercise on how to use the online soil mapping softwares available. We talked a lot about soils, but never spent any time determining what type of soils individuals in the room have if they own land. That experience would help everyone, either immediately or in the future if they do not currently own land.
Say hi to Holly and your new little lady,
Best,
Scott

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your suggestions. I don't think you actually need to dowload DropBox to your computer in order to access the files. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you just need to create a username and password. Then it gives you the option (suggests) that you can download the program. But I believe you can just access the files online at that point, once you have an account, without downloading the software. I can't think of any other way to share the files. Maybe there is another online option. Does anyone else know of something? I've already condensed the files as small as possible and some are still 20MB, primarily because of all the images. I should be able to email Kat's spreadsheets through this email as they will be much smaller. I'll do that as soon as I get them.
Thanks,
John
Scott
