Great Lakes Region Perennial Nurseries

This is a selection of the nurseries listed in the Fruit, Berry, and
Nut Inventory, 4th Edition, Seed Savers Exchange. Your best bet is
for a nursery from your growing zone, preferably zone 3-4, which
includes most of WI and MN. Beware of IA, MI, IL, or IN as these are
primarily zone 5 or warmer, even if they say “hardy” varieties. There
are also very good nurseries in ID, MT, VT, NY, and ME that are zone
4. These are closer, which doesn’t mean they’re better, but you might
visit them since many do on farm workshops as well.
