any tips out there for well fitting, tailored dress shirts. I find so
many dress shirts are so big in the body/shoulders/under arms. I am
not even that big a guy, usually wear a 16/32 so don't know what the
tall skinny dudes do. I buy a lot of hugo boss b/c they are slimmer,
charles tyrwhitt slim cut, and other slim cuts I find at department
stores, but nothing consistently good. the best are actually my dad's
old custom made shirts he has gotten too fat for... anyone have
suggestions? would love to find a place where I can just get 5-10 of
same cut in diff colors. also, prefer not to break the bank. thanks.

For off the rack, I recommend the Thomas Mason shirts at J.Crew. I
wear 16 1/2 - 17, 34 and they're a nice, slender fit. John Varvatos
Star USA is also a good option. For a custom fit shirt try Alexander
West or Cego, if you're based in NYC. You can also order Alexander
West online.
