Urbanite lady wants to talk to us about The Beet

She's writing an article about food coops. I spoke to her a little bit about our primary mission to spread access to healthy, low-cost, unprocessed food. I also let her know that we are primarily operating as a buying club right now and that we are exploring alternative economic models. Since I wasn't at the meeting last night I told her I wasn't that up to date on the news- if anyone wants to call her let me know (rather than me sending out her cell to an email list.)

Don't know if anyone has responded yet... we talked about this at the meeting too, she got in contact with Tara. We wanted to find out more details about the article to gauge how in depth we'd wanna get with her and see if we could have a few more things in place once the story is published. Can you find out when it's supposed to run Aliza/Tara? And ask her to tell us more about the story? I might be able to talk to her on the phone this weekend if she's waiting to hear back from us.

She emailed me on Thurday night.  My internet didn't work for a couple days.  I got it and sent her an email back on Monday, with no response yet....

I talked to her the day I sent the email to the group (Dec. 7th). She seemed pretty stressed that the story was due soon, so I think she might already have sent it in to the editors. I didn't save her number, but I do think it's a good idea to find out when the story is supposed to run.

Ben also got back to her last Friday, asking for more details. He used
the coop's email account and I just checked he did not hear back.
