Hi everyone!

To follow up on the recent discussions about next steps to take with
The Beet buying club/future food coop:

1. A location: Cheryl has talked to a woman named Patty Lazos (Cc'd on
this email- hi patty!) about the possibility of having our buying club
pickup location (and storage!) be at the Montessori School. This would
be pretty awesome for so many reasons! Patty, do you think you would
be able to follow up with Denzel or whoever we would need to talk to
over there to see if that is a real possibility and what needs to be
done to make that happen? If anyone has any opinions on this please
feel free to comment :)

2. Fire Sale! : There is still leftover bulk goods at the Zodiac. We
need a volunteer to pick up the bags of food, scales, etc. and bring
them to Cheryl's house. Then we need someone to inventory and price
those leftover items. Then someone needs to send out an email to the
members about the sale. It will be at Cheryl's house. A tentative date
for the sale is Feb. 10-11. How does that work for people?

I am thinking maybe we can have members place orders for the leftover
goods and come pick them up, so they don't come to Cheryl's houses
expecting raisins or something and then we are sold out. Also, perhaps
we can have a sheet of paper where people can request special goods
from Frankferd. (I know that I, for one, would love to get bulk seeds
for sprouting.) But for special items I think people should have to
purchase the entire bulk amount the item is sold in.

That's the immediate thougts on moving forward so far... sorry for
such a long email! Maybe we can set up a more organized page in the
Google Group area so there is a clear list of who is doing what.
