A portable application can be run from a removable drive (USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, etc) on any Windows computer without installation.
You will carry the program with settings on removable drive and don't modify settings on host computer.
On Vista and above turn off User Account Control (UAC) or run launcher as admin.

Thank you for your work: It's great and very useful for people with a licensed version of DVDFab. But I'd appreciate as well portable versions of the free DVDFab (that is also at their website) for people like me with no license.
Thank you for your effort.

Still hard-freezes Windows 8 x64(final RTM, not previews). Last few versions did this as well.

I recall these PortableAppz packages having trouble with Windows 7 when it launched, so I'm sure it will be worked out eventually.

Normal, I have the same thing with the BRD patch (no more working after 8.2.0.0).

If you click No on second MessageBox, you apply BBB patch, says registered in about but no more tested.
If you click No on first you have trial and can be sufficient for occasional use.

So... you're enabling comments after a very long time of disabling them... nice!

One question... if someone were to say "use" this tool, would the ONE download always install the newest version when you download it? Or would you have to keep downloading the tiny file that downloaded the rest?

The online instller and the patch/reg info still work.
At the moment I just rename the main exe "Blufab.exe" back to "dvdfab.exe", It work as before.
Hence, I think, just update the online installer will do.

The program installs fine, but when trying to rip a disc, it's stopped by AACS. I've found your portable versions (already installed and uploaded as 7zip) on other sites and those work fine? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

As suspected, download setup from outside the U.S. works correctly. With your new installed upload, I no longer get a AACS error, however I think something may have gone wrong with the installation as I'm getting this error on most discs:
An Unknown error occurred.
Please check if there is a new version at DVDFab website.

I've tested six store bought Blu-rays both new and old, and only one did not encounter the error.

Thank you very much. I hope you are able to work out any kinks, and maybe on future releases you can upload already installed versions. That would be fantastic. Thank you again for all your hard work. :-)

I have to say that the two latest versions (9.3.1.8 and 9.3.1.9, with new Cloud Decryption Service) fail to decrypt media if my PC is connected to the Internet. I suppose that BRD patch has some problem with this new cloud service.

On first start DVDFab set language itself according Windows localisation.
Language setting is kept in:
:\PortableApps\DVDFabPortable\Data\DVDFab10\fab_config.xml
with CurLanguageFile path.

I have Windows 10 with Windows Defender as my antivirus software. In the last versions of this software (from version 10, I'm not really sure), the antivirus detects malware (some kind of a Trojan). What can I do? Thanks in advance.

Now I'm sure. I've just tested the 3 last version (10.0.2.5, 10.0.2.8 and 10.0.3.1) and all of them are detected as having malware and, of course, are left inoperative. The last version not having this trouble is 9.3.1.9. Thank you. Hope you fix it as soon as you can.

I did that but the problem is that the minute I enable the antivirus, it deletes the "virus", leaving the app inoperative. It's really annoying. I wish there were something you can do to work things out.

Any admin/moderator contact ? Or email ?
I have problem with Total Commander, original totalcmd64.exe executes commands (/O /T /R=), but TotalCommanderPortable.exe don`t allow any commands. Any solutions ?

Hello Sr. bernat only one module is activated the other modules are not, some solution please, thank you very much. Comment: in the previous versions when starting the program it activated all the modules automatically and there was no problem, but in this last version it does not happen like that, thanks. Greetings.

Every time I start the latest 10.0.7.1 portable version, it keeps showing the activated modules window, and right after that, I get the "x64 UHD Features" window, even if I check the "Don't show again" box ...

What can I do ??

The MD5 values are 100% OK on the 3 files ...

I also tried to delete everything about Portable DVDFab, reinstalled and started everything from scratch. Still getting the problem ...

But I also tried with a "pre-cracked" release I found on the net, and I have no more problems.

I did not notice that problem with older releases like the ones that were not using the MHZ loader system ...

What can be done ?

PS: Every day at 00:00 (midnight), I get a warning box that asks me to choose the program I want to use to open a ".mhz." file

I know that a 32Bits version can be used on a 64Bits system, but as you probably know, there is a feature that is available ONLY with the 64Bits version.

But if there is no loader at the moment, that's quite normal that there is no "portable" or "cracked" version ...

I have version 10.0.6.8 64x with crack, but it does not work for me, because I ran out of the trial period.
Can you make a portable that fncione with the files that I have? I can send them to you if you want them.
Only 64x can use UHD 4K HDR.

if it works, I have used it several times but when downloading another version it stopped working, it works perfectly but I made the mistake of updating.
After installing, rename dvfab64.exe to dvdfab.exe

Website states 11.0.2.0 64 bit download. Flesh directory install and its 11.0.1.6. Can you look into why the download file version and the actual download are different?

I'm also getting a pop up that 11.0.2.1 is the latest.

You have nothing to do.
On first run or after an update localuse11065.rec don't exist and ...pirated... popups but this file is created by program and no more popup after.
localuse*.rec is not created-used if you disconnect internet (or use an Anti-Inet dll) but you miss features using internet.

Tested working with 64 bit.
No change in installer since 21/05/17.
Perhaps something is missing in your system for latest version.
If you have setup for previous version you can rebuild by renaming it in DVDFab12.exe or DVDFab12_x64.exe and run online installer in same folder.
