24 hour rule

Hi all,

I would like to take a moment and remind everyone of the 24 hour rule and why it's in place. We coaches, ask that before providing any incite or advice or criticism to the coaching staff, that you give it 24 hours to digest before approaching us with that information.  We do this to prevent emotion from getting the best of us and possibly saying something we may not mean or something that isn't necessary true.  Coaching staff may be on the younger side, but I can assure you we have plenty of knowledge and passion for this program. Like the parents, we want to see the players get better on the ice and as young, responsible adults. 

The coaches certainly enjoy and like talking to the parents. We work for you guys too and we want to hear your input on what you guys see, 100%. However, none of the parents are on the ice for practice, or in the lockerrom or on the bench. Trust me when I tell you, we are fully aware of what Needs worked on and our plate is quite full, especially given our wide range of experience/talent.  

All and all, I thought the boys played hard and today's loss gives us a lot to work on this week.  We look forward to the challenge and will continue to get better every day, every week. 

For those of you i won't see before the holiday, I hope everyone has a safe and memorable time with family and friends.
