Hey all,

Tom Judge helped us debug why the bayou classic propane burner has been
so cantankerous for so long - the regulator that came with it just flat
out sucks and it seems to have something stuck in it. Last brew day we
borrowed the regulator from the forge with Tom's blessing (but had to
put it back when we were done) and let me say, that regulator made using
the burner a dream instead of a nightmare.

I went ahead and ordered that same regulator from Majestic Forge. It ran
me $90 total. Justin's already offered to chip in, but it would be nice
if some others would chip in for our new regulator as well. If not, no
sweat.

Next brew: now with less propane crankiness.

Eric

Aaack. I wish I'd known. I already bought a regulator for the Beer Cathedral.

Any chance you know how many BTU the.Bayou Classic is? I'm trying to get an idea how the burners for the Cathedral stack up.

I think it's at least 150kbtu.

I'm not sure, though.
