Dear colleagues,

Submissions are now open to participate in the Workshop on Behavioural Ecological Economics, which will take place in Florence on July 10th-11th, 2023. The workshop focuses on the applications of behavioural and experimental economics to ecological economics and is designed to foster new collaborations in this emerging field of research.

To participate, please submit your long abstract by April 16th, 2023.

For more information and to SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT, please visit https://ecologicaleconomicstuscany.ec.unipi.it/workshop/2023-2/

The workshop will take place in person. Attendance is free and is primarily targeted at postdoctoral and research students. Participants will be kindly requested to stay for the entire duration of the workshop and their number will be limited to 30 to enhance debate and interaction. Meals, snacks, and drinks will be provided free of charge during the workshop. Any other expenses will be borne by participants, who are also responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements.

The workshop is linked with the summer school “Leveraging Ecological Economics to Advance the Sustainability Transition” that will be held at the University of Pisa in the days immediately after, on July 11th-15th, 2023,. Hence, we expect students of the summer school to attend the workshop.

Cheap accommodation is available in the same location of the summer school, at the “Residence Le Benedettine” (http://en.residence.unipi.it/home_en/), while fee reductions are available thanks to the financial support from the University of Pisa and the European Society for Ecological Economics (ESEE)

Information is available at https://ecologicaleconomicstuscany.ec.unipi.it/summer-schools/

Kind regards,

Nives
