Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone on the listserv is well-versed in pollen and nectar sampling across plant species. I'm looking for someone who could answer a few questions for me about field and lab methods, and possibly collaborate  on a project comparing resource quality on experimental plots. If you’re interested, please let me know, and I can follow up with a message off-list.

Thanks!
Desirée

Please look at the book edited by Dafni et al. Practical Pollination Biology". There is a whole Chapter on the topic. The whole book is available electronically by Research Gate or can be purchased in hard copy brom Natural History Books based in UK.

The other methods book by David Inouye may also still be available.

Best wishes, Peter Kevan

For pollen sample collecting and processing I've found this paper and the protocols in the supplemental very helpful, I've attached PDFs
Vaudo, A. D., Tooker, J. F., Patch, H. M., Biddinger, D. J., Coccia, M., Crone, M. K., ... & Grozinger, C. M. (2020). Pollen protein: lipid macronutrient ratios may guide broad patterns of bee species floral preferences. Insects, 11(2), 132.
