New issue 100 by m88...@gmail.com: fails to find gps port
http://code.google.com/p/beegis/issues/detail?id=100

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start ugis
2. press öpen gps settings
3. choose "search port"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'd expect that the gps running on /dev/ttyS1 is found (or prefereable: a
connection to gpsd is made). Instead: "Could not initialize class
gnu.io.CommPortIdentifier". See attachment for full report.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

debian wheezy i686 kernel 3.2.19
udig 1.3.0 with acompanied jre
beegis_plugins_1.0.7

Comment #1 on issue 100 by m88...@gmail.com: fails to find gps port
http://code.google.com/p/beegis/issues/detail?id=100

After switching to my distribution's native OpenJDK Runtime Environment
(IcedTea6 1.11.1) (6b24-1.11.1-6) and in addition installing librxtx-java I
was able to select the serial port.

Now on choosing "Start Gps" I get:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid format: "160612221055" is too
short

Find a complete log of the session attached.
