zlib error

Hi, 

I have been trying to use the intersect command with bedtools on two BAM files. 

the BAM files do not open and this is the subsequent error in bedtools 

`ZLIB_1.2.3.3' not found (required by bedtools) 

What is this zlib error, can you please help ?
