Installation issue

I have tried all of the suggested options for installing bedtools on Ubuntu wsl (windows 10). It appears to successfully install but when I check version with bedtools --version it lists the versipn as 2.27.0 rather than 2.30.0. This is a problem as other software I am about to use is dependent on bedtools 2.29+.

Can you please advise?
