We agreed 50 at the meeting. They are in 10m strips. I have got a price but not as good as previously due to lower quantities. Price is £270 incl 20% VAT (thought it would be 5% but was 20% last time). To get these in time, I'll need to order them tomorrow let me know straight away if any problems.

Thanks

Mike

Sorry for last text not finished, just got out of pool, feel a bit shaky.

Didn't know there was another meeting so soon after the last.

Would of thought it would be a 5% vat, shame. If no one has any objections i guess go ahead, but it does seem small amount. Can we not go for 70 - 100 to get s better price?

Hi Vincent and all

There hasn't been another meeting-it is what we agreed at the last meeting. Next meeting is 16 Dec.

Thinking about the rota for 7Dec, this is what we agreed last time:

12.45-2 Vincent and Mike (including setting up for 2)
2-3 Nick
3-4 Cora

The problem is that the event runs 11-5pm so we need to decide whether we want to stay until the lantern parade at 5pm. I think Bridget will be able to help but van anyone else spare an hour?

Thanks

Mike

I don't mind staying longer since I want to see the parade. But also, I don't particularly want to do the stall by myself as I don't feel I know enough if people want advice.

Hi Cora,

Just a quick thought, is giving advice something you’d like to be doing more for BEG? Would you like me to check if there’s any energy training coming up here for CSE’s volunteers that you could join in with? Would anyone else be interested?

Alternatively, Easton Energy Group are arranging a Make Your Home Eco course with Martin Fodor for the new year for their volunteers and for Easton householders. There’s a small cost (£30 I think) to attend all 6 sessions, but BEG might be able to cover that for you if you wanted to attend and if there is space on the course.

Cheers

Hi all

Sorry to mess up plans but I think we need to extend by an hour at the start and end. In the agreement it says:

Dates: East Street Christmas Fayre is Saturday 7th December, 11-5.30pm
Set up times: 10am until 10.45am
Take down: after Lantern Parade; 5.15 to 6pm

I could help set up and man the stand until 12.45. So we just need to extend the end time a bit, or find a way to sneak off early. This is the schedule from Mike's email:

12.45-2 Vincent and Mike (including setting up for 2)
2-3 Nick
3-4 Cora

What does everyone think about offering a voucher or something for everyone who does a shift? Might also be a good way to thank people from our wider group of volunteers if we got any offers?

Mike well done for sorting the new draughtproofing strips!

Hi all

Date (and amended set-up time) for East Street Xmas Fayre now in my diary. I will be there regardless, to kick start the day. Would like to carry on holding the event stuff for the time being so, will do my shift and return at end of day (or earlier) to help pack up and perhaps sneak of early.

Morgan, Bridget - had a few beers and a long chat with Nigel Walker from Easton Energy last night. We are actively looking to find ways in working more closely together on various fronts. He mentioned about the Mke Your Home Eco course.

Hi all

Thanks Vincent!

Would the following rota work for people?:

Set up through to 12.45 Bridget and Vincent
12.45-2 Simon-need to check Simon can do this
2-3 Nick
3-5 Cora and Mike

Hopefully we can get one or two others for the 12.45-3 slots

I completely understand Cora's point in her earlier email-the above hopefully addresses that.

Co-op vouchers are a good idea. I have got our supply. What do you think-£5?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Morgan,

It's something I would be interested in. Make Your Home Eco might not work for me though, as I am planning to be away for several months from February.
