Hi all

Apologies for delay circulating these notes from the Bedminster Energy Group meeting on 17th March. Great to meet some new people!

The next meeting was pencilled in for Monday 14 April, 7:30pm to concentrate on planning for the summer event.

The grant confirmation has come through and I'm attaching a summary of the application. It looks as though 12 July will be the best date for it... put it in your diaries. :-)

Hi all

Just a quick reminder about our meeting on Monday, 7.30 at the Wetherspoons on Canon Street again. We'll try and find a quieter for corner this one, it was a bit loud last time. The meeting is going to be all about planning for the summer solar event as we need to get going with it.

I'm attaching notes from the last meeting (including initial actions around the event planning) and the summary of the the funding application.

Noemi arranged a meeting at the farm today and the co-ordinator there, Simone, couldn't have been more helpful and enthusiastic! She is checking the 12 July date for availability, but if it's free it sounds like it is the best option. Others may have different views though - let's finalise the decision on date and venue on Monday.

If you want to get involved in the event but can't make it on Monday, just drop a line (and if there's anything particular you want to help with on the planning and preparation and/or on the day, shout now)!

Sorry for delay. Here are notes from the meeting last week, planning for the 12 July event. There's an overview of the event and quite a lot of actions already.

Lots to do! So if you fancy helping out with any of the pre-event planning and publicity etc, setting up or manning a stall on the day, or if you have an idea you want to try out at the event, just shout. :-)

Next meeting will be 21 May, 7.30 pm and the one after that on 12 June. Venue TBC.

Thanks. Did we agree timings for the event? I would need this when contacting installers. Presumably we'd ask them to arrive 30 mins before?

Hi all

I didn't receive any suggestions on timings for the event, so suggest 2-4.30pm.  A shorter period will be more concentrated and help with staffing it (in practice for us 1-5pm to allow for set up and pack up, i.e. 2 hour shifts each person, min of 4 people ). Is that ok?

Sounds fine to me. You reckon still ok to call it a solar energy day (i.e. not 'afternoon')?

Quick reminder about the meeting tomorrow.

To keep it simple, just four agenda items...

1. Decision (vote) on BEN membership
2. Future Bemmie activities and capacity - quick review
3. Planning for 12 July event at the farm (see attached)
4. AOB

For the event planning, Mike suggested a core group to organise it, that way not everyone needs to get all the emails!

No better venue suggestions so see you at the Whetherspoons 7.30 tomorrow...
