Henry VII, a swaggering jerk with an heir problem has his crown challenged by three upstarts: the noble Edward, locked away long ago in the Tower; the curious Ned, a disgruntled shepherd with a mysterious past; and the fashionable Perkin, whisked away from his French beginnings and now improbably hatching a brogue takeover with the gritty graces of all Scotland.
As these three Brats race for the throne, it's the usual Bedlam fare: hilarity, cross dressing, pirate posturing, undiscovered discoveries, long-lost findings, academic disastrousment, and drunken carousing--and all of this, at the command of the King himself, in absolutely no blank verse!
