Bedford Town Trail Walk

Old Res Conservation Area

 

Description: Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free Trail Walk to explore the Old Res Conservation Area. We will make a moderately hilly circumnavigation of the res, at a comfortably slow pace.  The walk will last about 2 hours or less.

 

We will start and finish the walk at the old pump house between 99 and 135 Shawsheen Road (although the official meet-up location is still behind the Bedford Library).

 

When and        We meet at 9:45 AM at the parking

Where:   lot behind the Bedford Free Public

        Library (7 Mudge Way). 

 

If you meet us at the trailhead directly, please park on Shawsheen Road across from the pump house.

Notes:   All, or portions, of the trail may be icy, muddy, wet or snow covered.  We will walk rain, snow, or shine.  Please wear suitable footwear, including spikes if necessary.

 

Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome. 

 

With the recent unseasonably warm weather, there have been reports of tick activity, so please take appropriate precautions.
