Bedford Town Trail Walk

Wilderness Conservation Area

Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 9:45 am

 

Please join the Bedford Trails Committee for a free walk around the Wilderness Conservation Area.

 

We will walk from Springs Road on the west side over to Lantern Lane on the east, and back, covering most of the Blue loop.

 

The walk will be slow-paced, about 2 hours duration.   When and        Meet at 9:45 AM in the Where:   parking lot behind the Bedford Free Public Library.    We will actually start and finish the walk at the trail head on Springs Road, parking in the MCC parking lot across the street (although the meet-up location is still behind the Bedford Library).   Leader:  Amit Shahar, Bedford Trails Committee   Notes:   Children and dogs are welcome.    We will walk regardless of the weather – rain, snow, or shine.

 

The walk will cover trails that are rough, rocky, rooty, hilly, and muddy. Please wear comfortable footwear that can handle the conditions. (This is New England!)

Hello,

I heard a young man say he was getting an electric bike and blazing a new trail at the Old  Reservoir conservation land.

Is that allowed and who has the authority to stop it?
