Subject: Will you help us promote the Columbus Audubon's Family Nature Retreat in Hocking Hills, May 5-7, 2017?
Our records show that the
Ohio Outdoors Women, Inc. is a friend of Columbus Audubon and you may have the ability and desire to help us promote our annual nature family weekend -
"EcoWeekend". Our annual retreat is held the weekend before Mother's Day and this year's dates are
May 5-7, 2017. This year will be our 45th Outdoor Adventure Camp!
EcoWeekend is a unique opportunity to have an affordable and enjoyable weekend experiencing nature’s beauty and learning about nature from experienced program leaders who share their knowledge. This event is not just for birders! This annual event
is unlike any other offering in the United States. Over 50 unique programs are offered from Friday evening until noon on Sunday with special
youth programming for morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday. Participants pre-register for their classes, lodging and meals and we have included the full brochure and registration form, attached.
Nature Lovers of all ages experience reinvigoration with the natural world and return home with new knowledge and renewed energy to make the right choices for preservation and conservation.
EcoWeekend is held at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio's beautiful
Camp Oty’Okwa in Hocking Hills: Camp Oty’Okwa is located between South Bloomingville and Conkles Hollow in the Hocking Hills.
We believe Columbus Audubon's EcoWeekend is a great extension to the mission of the
Ohio Outdoors Women organization and we hope that you will consider distributing our brochure to your members and associates. If our brochure cannot be sent as an email attachment we hope you will consider sending some brief information and our website
to your distribution list (see below for a suggested promotional). Registrations can be completed online at
www.ecoweekend.org with a registration deadline of April 8th. We hope that our brochures can be distributed electronically and/or printed copies can be displayed for easy access at your events or facility. Let me know and I can provide you printed
brochures for your events and/or on-site presence by one of our team.
We'd love to hear of any promotion you may make on behalf of the EcoWeekend event and we are happy to reciprocate sharing information about your key events. THANK YOU!
All the best,
Maura Rawn
