Good afternoon, I would like to remind everyone that the lottery drawing for the pheasant hunting workshop is quickly approaching. I will be drawing 20 names on January 11th to participate in a guided pheasant hunt at Cherrybend Pheasant Farm on March 16, 2013. As of today, I have only received 16 registrations for the drawing. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn about upland hunting and hunt with experienced guides at a very reasonable rate. For those who have not completed a hunter education course, the Division of Wildlife offers a proficiency test option for Ohio residents who are age 18 or older. Proficiency tests can be taken at any Division of Wildlife district office or the central office located in Columbus.
