Twincat 3 service is on “not active”

Twincat 3 service is on “not active” mode all time , and when we tried to push to start under service  we are facing problem of starting, check below pictures:

 

 

 Solution:

 

1-      Check that you have administrator rights.

2-      Make sure to have the latest Twincat version installed

3-      Check that your window is  updated

You have to update windows 7 so that SHA2 drivers are now recognized.

For Windows 10, make sure SecureBoot is deactivated in BIOS and install compatible version 3.1 build 4022 or higher.

 

4-      If you are using a virus scanner, make sure that an exception doesn’t interfere with it ,  If so, c:\twincat has to be an exception in the antivirus.

5-      Make sure that the  user account control is on maximum step 3, It shouldn’t be on highest.
