Still Active?

Hi there,

is this group still active?

Currently I'm trying to implement a Client for a Beckhoff TwinCat PLC
Module, using the ADS Libraries on Linux.
I tried different versions found with the links provided here, but all
of them dont seem to be maintained any more ( Modification dates
spreading between 2005 - 2008)

Is there anyone using these Libraries nowadays, or is there a better
way doing it?

Hi,

I am not using them anymore and they where developped a bit as proof
of
concept.

I think what i did is the latest work:
http://github.com/gass/libads

The code works, but is not feature complete to substitute the
beckhoff's
libraries, mainly because of the missing "ads router".

But this ads router is not really needed.

If you want, i can help you improving it.

thanks for your response. I'll have a closer look into your work.
As I'm new to the Beckhoff system, I still have to learn about tbe
basics...
