to Becka's Weight Loss Challenge
Well, gang, I'm still maintaining my weight. It fluxuates day by day
up or down one pound, but for the most part, it's holding. Seen as
how I'm approaching 4 months pregnant, that's a good thing!
I actually don't eat much, because certain foods spike my blood sugar,
but also, more importantly, there just ain't "room" anymore in my
belly for big helpings. Everything is being pushed upwards, making my
belly rounder.
Since my gutsky was round to begin with (lol) I'm not "showing",
unless you know what I looked like before. Before, my belly was like
a pear. Now, it's like an apple, even hard when I stand up rather
than jiggly. :P My pants are tighter than they used to be, but I can
still zip them. I'm sure my "skinny" pants wouldn't fit, and I
haven't tried them for a few weeks, but the pants I used to wear when
I was heavier do fit. It's funny, it fits around the waist, but the
legs are all ballooney from still being too big. Heh
I have a doc's appt. today, and if they happen to give me another
ultrasound (which they might, as my dr. mentioned keeping a close eye
on the development of the baby), I'm hoping baby is big enough to find
out what it is. Exciting! I'll let you know if/when that
happens. :D
I'm assuming eating a bit less and keeping consistent with eating
breakfast and drinking my diet green teas have kept any weight off for
the most part. I haven't been exercising, and I really need to start
that up again. Problem is, I do anything overly physical, I am
EXHAUSTED after and need to take a nap. Took the kids to the zoo the
other day to see their new dinosaur exhibit, and even though we didn't
walk around to see the whole park, I was still wasted when we got
home. Same with just going to Costco or what have you.
Perhaps my body is burning more calories just doing mundane things
than it would be normally. I dunno.
Anywho, just an update that I haven't lost nor gained. Holdin'
steady!
