Berkeley Disaster Prep Meet & Greet!

Come to an in-person gathering at the BFUU Church Thursday, May 29th, at 6:30pm. 1606 Bonita 94709

In one week! Come meet Berkeley's leaders in disaster preparedness. Representatives from the city's mayor's office, city council, fire department, health department, office of emergency services, CERT, as well as folks with BDPNN, BeCERTAINN. There'll be free drinks and appetizers, plus some giveaways. We'll have brief introductions, and then an opportunity to connect one on one, ask questions, and get to know others who also care about disaster prep. Come hear about the proposed EMBER program, CERT trainings, and how we can step up locally as individuals, neighborhoods, communities at a time when support for federal programs are being cut.
