April Net & Simplex Testing Tonight

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Frist April Net Tonight 19:30 with Simplex Testing

After the repeater portion of the net, Net Control will call back stations that checked in on Simplex Ch 22.

1. Assume Net Control will call you back on Simplex Ch 22 unless you say "no simplex" during the repeater check in.
2. Make sure your radio is set to Ch 22 Simplex
3. For the simplex portion, you will only be asked to repeat your callsign, no additional information is needed
4. Net Control will provide a simplex signal report

This information will be repeated during tonight's net.

The best way to deal with emergencies is to train and practice beforehand, so that response becomes automatic.
