BEACON Exercise Thursday April 30, 2026 1000-1200 (10AM - Noon)

BeCERTAINN, GMRS or FRS Operators will:

• Check in to the GMRS Net on Ch 22 anytime between 1000 and 1200 and provide your call sign and Genasys Protect Evacuation Zone

• Be acknowledged by Net Control by call sign and evacuation zone

• Optional: Operators may provide a situation report (“exercise message”)

• Check out when no longer monitoring

• Please try and repeat check in and check out (even if you can only participate for a short time) to simulate conditions under a prolonged activation.

The best way to deal with emergencies is to train and practice beforehand, so that response becomes automatic.
