BDPNN Meet and Greet:

Thanks to those of you who attended the BDPNN event AND welcome new participants to BeCERTAINN. A few take-aways from the event:

• BeCERTAINN What, Why and How was presented with many in attendance asking good questions and seeking to get involved
• Many groups CERT, Berkeley Ready, BDPNN are ramping up activities to support training and preparedness
• City council members and the mayor's office were present and learned about our work

The best way to deal with emergencies is to train and practice beforehand, so that response becomes automatic.
