Hi BECCA users,

I've posted numbers 2 and 3 in the series of 4 videos I'm making to summarize some recent research results:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV7Rg1Jono4&list=PLF861CC4C40439EEB&index=4

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27cLUwo2yTg&list=PLF861CC4C40439EEB&index=2

They're continuing on with theme of feature extraction and anomaly detection in multiple data types.

There are links below each video to more detailed information about the simulations. Check them out, and pass on the links to anyone else you think might be interested.

Enjoy!

thanks for the videos.

i'm wondering if we can use BECCA to identify patterns in a video stream.  i tried using 'motion' (it records changes to the video stream, but not still repeated frames).  this could be piped into BECCA both as a live stream, and as pre-recorded video files.

the user interface would allow you to label a specific frame and add extra metadata.  for example, if a bus drives down the street and enters the camera's vision, you can label "bus approach", then "bus depart" a few frames later.

I don't know of any reason it couldn't be used to do this. If you get around to coding it up, let me know. I would love to see it in action on this problem.
