AInsl-X Aqua Lock Primer is a 100% acrylic primer that provides excellent adhesion to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces. It has superior sealing and coverage qualities, product versatility, and is an excellent base coat for both latex and oil-based finish coatings.

It offers excellent stain blocking properties for water stains, wood tannin, fingerprints, smoke, crayons and more. It also provides a mold-resistant coating.

A. Insl-X Aqua Lock Primer is a low-VOC, smooth base for latex or oil-based top coats that provides a mildew-resistant coating. It offers outstanding sealing properties.

Aqua Lock prevents stains from bleeding through the finish coat. Thanks to a formula that dries quickly, it can be recoated in one hour.

A. Insl-X Aqua Lock Primer can be applied to properly prepared, previously painted surfaces.

Although Aqua Lock Primer is formulated to be applied to glossy hard-to-coat surfaces without the need for sanding, it is recommended that proper surface preparation still be completed to enhance adhesion properties. Surfaces such as Formica, ceramic tile and glossy paint should be properly deglossed.

All surface areas to be painted should be clean, dry, and free of all dirt, grease, oils, waxes, mildew and any other surface contaminants that can cause paint failure. Remove all loose chipping, cracking and peeling from previously painted surfaces by hand scraping, sanding, wire brushing and/or by use of power tool cleaning methods such as electric sanders, grinders, etc.

Once applied, allow Aqua Lock Primer to cure for approximately 3 to 4 days to achieve maximum resistance to scrape-off. However, it may be top coated with a quality latex or oil-based finish within 1 to 2 hours, depending on overall drying conditions.

A. Insl-X Aqua Lock Primer can be used on many substrates, including concrete, cement blocks, galvanized metals, etc. However, it is not formulated specifically for surfaces that will be driven on. For vehicular traffic, like a garage, try Insl-X GarageGuard.

A. Insl-X Aqua Lock Primer dries quickly. At 77F (25C) at 50% RH (Relative Humidity), it takes 30 minutes to be tack free after the initial application. After an hour, Aqua Lock is ready to be recoated. It takes three to four days for Insl-X Aqua Lock to cure.

High humidity and cool temperatures will result in longer dry, recoat and service times.

A. Insl-X Aqua Lock Primer is not designed to be submerged under water.

Aqua Lock Plus is formulated to prevent stains from bleeding through. Aqua Lock Plus Primer provides excellent stain blocking properties against common stains, such as water stains, tannin, smoke stains, graffiti, crayons, lipstick and fingerprints.

Aqualock OneCoat is used in a single coat application when the substrate is damp and normal Flowcrete primers cannot be used. Aqualock OneCoat permits the installation of Flowcrete coatings on top of concrete substrates that have a relative humidity of up to 97% (tested in accordance with BS 8203). However, the surface must be dry; no moisture may be visible on the surface. Suitable for use with underfloor heating.

Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat can be used for resin rich coatings and primers e.g. Flowcoat SF41, Peran SL, Peran STC. For cementitious product and screeds, use two coats of Hydraseal DPM with a sand

scatter in the second layer (see technical information for Hydraseal DPM).

Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat is solvent and nonylphenol free and practically odourless during application. Follow the appropriate Occupational Health and Safety guidelines applicable to the location where the application is undertaken.

3.4 parts of Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat Base A are mixed with 1 part of Aqualock OneCoat Hardener B, by weight. Stir the Base A and Hardener B components before adding all of Hardener B to Base A. Mix with slow speed drill and helical spinner, taking care not to entrain air. Note. Mix for 4-5 minutes to obtain a consistent and uniform grey colour. Ensure all materials from the base and sides of the containers are mixed in thoroughly to ensure complete curing.

TRUBUILD AQUALOCK FLEXI is two component acrylic-modified high performance elastomeric cementitious waterproofing membrane coating particularly designed for Concrete and Masonry surface. The powder Part B is mixed with high build Polymer liquid Part A. It forms flexible and seamless waterproof membrane which acts as an excellent water barrier for Concrete and Masonry Surface. This can be used for both positive and negative side waterproofing due to its high resistance to hydrostatic pressure. It also provide lasting protection against efflorescence It complies standards - USFDA: 175:300

INSL-X Block Out is a modified synthetic primer sealer carried in a special solvent that dries quickly and is effective over many different stains, including water, tannin, smoke, rust, pencil, ink, nicotine, and coffee. Block Out primes, seals, protects, and can be used on bare or previously painted surfaces; interior drywall, plaster, wood, or masonry; and exterior masonry surfaces. Can be used as a spot primer for exterior wood shingles/composition siding.

INSL-X Prime Lock Plus is a fast-drying alkyd resin coating that primes and seals plaster, wood, drywall, and previously painted or varnished surfaces. It ensures the paint top coat has consistent sheen and appearance (excellent enamel holdout), seals even the toughest stains without raising the wood grain, and can be top coated with any latex or alkyd finish coat.
