Hi everyone! :)

Just a note to let you know a bit of fun news - Wix, the company I
used to build www.beavoiceforthevoiceless.com, found my website last
week via Twitter and messaged me to tell me they liked it a lot and
wanted to feature it in their blog sometime.

Wix "twittered" me this morning to let me know they highlighted the
site along with a few non-profits. :) It's a very brief mention, but
pretty cool because they have almost half a million sites they

If you haven't already seen the site, let me point out the main
purposes:

*
create a site from the "consistent life ethic" perspective,
which respects all of God's creation - the sites I've found online all
feel either dated or incomplete
*
educate people in the areas of caring for animals, people and
the planet, by doing the foundational research for them and
consolidating it all in one spot
*
connect people with great organizations to get involved with in
each of these above areas
*
provide a non-threatening area for people to learn about
veganism
*
create an area for a discussion on responsible and compassionate
living (info on the "connect" page)

In the next day or two, I'm going to add a "donation" page to the site
with hyperlinked logos to various nonprofits. If you have a
particular nonprofit you'd like me to consider for this page (I know
many people I'm sending this to are involved with great ones!), please
let me know. I will also be including a "featured nonprofit" every
week or so, so keep the suggestions coming!

Also, if you're interested, please join the google group for this site
below to stay in the loop. You have the option when you join to
either recieve no emails at all about group updates (just up to you to
visit the google group now and then), once-a-day emails consolidating
all updates, or real-time emails.
