Hello,

I am as green as fresh grass about this. My grad program just
purchased a TOM w/Stepstruder Mk6+. I am not getting any action out
of my business end. My stepper on the extruder is lifeless and I'm
not getting any heat. Any one have a protocol for testing either of
these parts? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I would double check the connectors onto the boards. Those cables are very short, and it could have dislodged from the board.

I tried that, switched them around, same scenario; XYZ just fine no
action on the Mk6. Makerbot has requested pictures, I am guessing to
check my wiring. If anyone hears anything please holler.

Are you using the correct replicator G profile?  You chose the thingomatic with stepstruder?  If it is set to the old extruder, it used a dc motor and I believe a thermistor so it worked a lot differently than the new one.

Advancement! I now have extrusion capabilities. That is until the
ABS gets to my cold hot end. @ Rick, I am using the correct profile
(Mk6) Makerbot requested that I test my thermostat; Ran test a few
times same result; GRN LED shuts off when I activate heater from
control panel, nothing happens when I disconnect thermostat, no red
light, no relay switch type noise. Waiting for a response from MBI.

Makerbot is sending me a new SCO kit. Hopefully this will be the fix.
