African-American with cyst acne . . .this product is amazing.

I am an African-American woman and I've had acne since I was 13 years old. So you can only imagine the many products that I have used in 20+ years. If you thought of it, then I have tried it. I was hesitant to try Gunilla of Sweden Lerosett Organic Acne Treatment. But, I said to myself "go for it". I purchased this product June 21, 2012 and starting using it June 26, 2012. Prior to using it, I prayed over it because I didn't know what to expect. After using it for a week, I've noticed that my acne on my cheeks (just like you see in the pictures on their website) went down. It was mounds of patches of acne on my left and right cheeks. The size of the acne decreased to small size individual pimples. I followed the instructions and used it twice a day (once in the morning and once at night.) My routine: I use Neutrogena (Facial Cleansing Bar for Acne-Prone Skin) soap to really cleanse my face. (Tip: The bar is more powerful than the pump). I would then pat dry my face using a separate clean facial towel (not the towel that you use to dry off your body). I would apply the Gunilla of Sweden Lerosett Organic Acne Treatment facial mask and allow it to dry for at least 15 to 30 minutes. I applied a thin layer of the facial mask (transparent just like the instructions say). After 15 to 30 minutes, I would rinse my face several times with warm water to remove the facial mask completely. Lastly, I would pat dry my face using the facial towel. For areas that are stubborn, I would apply the facial mask to the affected area and use as a spot treatment. This product is great for spot treatments. I have since purchased two Gunilla of Sweden Lerosett Organic Acne Treatment Masks. The package is ok. The tube is metal so you have to squeeze to get the last bit out. Gunilla of Sweden Lerosett Organic Acne Treatment Mask does not cure acne. I occasionally get pimples here and there while using this product. It's true you will have to go through the ugly first. I am still a work in progress with this product. I now have to find a product that can remove the dark spots and blemishes. (A night cream). Also, you have to use a facial moisturizer. The mask dries your face completely out so you have to restore moisture to your skin. (Tip: Try to keep your hands and hair off your face and try changing your pillow case once a week). I hope this product works for you like it has for me.

No Effect

This just plain didn't work on my face. I know it works for most people, and I'm glad it does, but my hopes were pretty crushed. I'm not writing this a bad review because I didn't do it right; I followed the exact directions: 2-3 thin masks for 20+ minutes daily. I'm not writing this a bad review because it made my acne worse: I'd be happy if it had; that would make me think it was indeed drawing impurities to the surface/purging/detoxing. Rather, this product has had no effect (good or bad) on my acne whatsoever.
While I'm glad this works miracles for so many people, I really wish this wasn't presented as a sure thing. The instructions say if after 2 weeks you see no improvement to contact customer care. I did, and the response was "LEROSETT clears acne 100% of the time when 2-full masks are applied every day from 14-21 days. If LEROSETT has had no effect it's likely you have a condition other than acne. You may have Keratosis Pilaris, Perioral dermatitis, Rosacea, Rash etc. and may need to see a physician." I have seen a dermatologist/physician, and I have also seen the skin conditions listed. I certainly don't have any of those things, and I have been diagnosed with acne.
Long story short, try the trial from their website; you'll only lose $5 (you have to pay shipping to yourself and then shipping back if you don't like it). But be open-minded to the fact that it might not work, regardless of the way it's advertised.

Not a miracle cure, but a very nice product

I got pretty desperate and was willing to spend the money on this- I have moderate-severity acne on my jaw/face and nothing else has helped. I've been using it about 2 weeks now. The first week I would say it made my acne worse, according to the website that is normal, so I dealt with it (used it roughly 2X a day with some spot treatment at night). The past week I have been using it closer to 1X per day, and I have found that it has improved my skin, and has reduced the blemishes significantly. I am still getting some acne, but much less severe. Of course, it can be hard to tell if this is just a natural part of the gets better/gets worse cycle, but I do think my skin has noticeably improved and I would attribute it to the product. It just feels smoother and clearer, and not like I have another breakout lurking- so I do recommend this, and I say this as a total skeptic of most "miracle cure!" style products.
