AllFan translated games in one place. This is our full list of fan made translations of non-English games (mostly Japanese). All roms & isos are already pre-patched. You can search & filter within this list by platform or language.

I was reading over this tutorial -everdrive-64-review/ about seting up the SD card for use with the Everdrive 64 multi-cart. I have purchsed one of these and it is on the way and should be here on Thursday. I noticed that the article mentions 2 games that didn't work still at the time of writing and one that needed patched.

Have you posted this on the official EVERDRIVE forums, I see questions like this often not to mention the creator and developer of the Everdrives even appears there. If your going to find anyone to help you with this I would bet it would be there:

Yurkie that review is out of date. That is for v1, v2 has been out for quite some time now. You no longer need to update firmware via JTAG connector. Its loaded right from SD card during start up. There is a hacked version of JFG that does work out there. Also the OS he used in the review is the original OS. The newer ones is much better. I wouldn't use that review for up to date information. aleomark on the official EverDrive forums that OldSchoolRetroGamer linked has a review of v2.

The version 2 does support a 6105 CIC which allows JFG and BT to work, but it also stops some 6103 games from working. Until this issue is corrected, which I am sure it will be eventually, we put 6102 in ours because they offer best compatibility.

We are working on a central EverDrive information site ( ) with compatibility lists, information, etc., but unless some others help me it will be awhile to get all this information up since I have more pressing matters to deal with.

First, you'll need to get everything needed for the patching process. You'll need a fresh ROM of what you want to patch, which you'll have to somehow get on your own (You can move it from an SD Card, but I think you can just download it off the internet in the same manner as a PC). Then you'll need to download the patch for the hack that you want to play from your internet browser.

For this tutorial, I will be using the ROM titled "Fire Emblem - Blazing Sword (Copy).gba", which is a fresh FE7 ROM. I will be using the patch for Elibian Nights, which can be found in Arch's thread of the same name.

Then, if you already don't have it, open up the Play Store and download "ROM Patcher". This app can be used for both IPS and UPS patch files. Other similar apps can be used, but ROM Patcher does its job the fastest from my experiences.

If the patch happens to be in a zipped file (rar, zip, 7z, etc.), then you'll need to extract its contents (Skip to Step 3 if the patch isn't zipped). Go to the Play Store and download "RAR for Android". Some similar apps can be used for this, but I recommend "RAR for Android" because of its convenience.

Go to "Downloads" (unless you somehow moved the zipped file elsewhere, then whichever folder it was moved to) and then tap and hold down on the zipped file until a drop-down menu shows up. Tap "Extract here" and the contents should pop up right below the zipped file.

IMPORTANT: For some reason, an error will pop up if the ROM happens to be on an SD Card. You'll have to make sure the ROM is in a folder that isn't on the SD Card. I recommend copying/moving the ROM from the SD Card to "Downloads" because the downloaded patch should already be there.

Tap "Choose ROM", go to "Downloads", and select the ROM you want to patch. Then tap "Choose patch" and select the IPS/UPS patch file you want to use (You'll have to scroll down to the "Downloads" folder again).

OPTIONAL: You can also choose to back up the ROM and rename the patched output (though the rename option can't be selected if the backup option isn't selected first). Backing up the ROM will create a copy of the unpatched ROM before the patching process starts, leaving the unpatched ROM and the patched ROM behind.

For convenience, you should move the patched ROM to the same folder in which you keep your other ROMs. You can do this by opening "My Files", selecting the "Downloads" folder, and holding down on the patched ROM until a drop-down menu appears so that you can "Move" it to the folder in which your ROMs are kept. You can also delete/uninstall the files/apps used to create the patched ROM if you have no plans to use them again in the future.

Yeah, it's a notch or two below Thracia hard, because in Eliwood's chapter, there is are infinitely spawning Swordreaver Berserkers, and you have no magic users and the only units with lances are mediocre Paladins

I had to reinstall launchbox after having the CefSettings.BrowserSubprocessPath not found issue. my antivirus had quarantined it but was getting an error when trying to restore, so just had to reinstall.

I noticed upon reinstall that it says don't install in program files (which is where itw as installed previously), so I installed it in a different place, and copied everything from launchbox's original folder over to the new place, overwriting anything it had to.

everything LOOKS ok. But it's not.

any game I try and launch says rom file doesn't exist. attempting to open a game directory flags up 'specified application folder for this game does not exist'.

I have far too many games on here to ever realistically be able to reimport and sort all of this again, this is years' work.

My games directory is separate to launchbox and hasn't moved.

Could one of you please help? Getting desperate!

Edit: yes I've looked at the thread attached, and don't understand how there can be 2 xmls (and which xmls they're on about) as if it was a duplicate surely it was overwrite..... any help or clarification greatly appreciated

Not sure I've seen the error you're talking about regarding not being able to install to Program Files before (unless that some OS error you were getting). You however easily change the roms paths in your collection. Open LaunchBox and select a single platform in the side bar, then select all the games in the grid and go to Toos > File Management > Change ROMs path for Selected Games (or something similar to that) and point it to the folder those games are in, then rinse repeat for all your platforms.

Well, before you get to riled up lets at least find out what you did exactly so we can provide proper troubleshooting. I see your post in the other thread did not provide any actual useful data as well. So let's start fresh.

2. Look inside your \Data\Platforms folder. Make sure you only have one xaml file per platform. If you have anything such a Sega Genesis.xaml and say a Sega Genesis_backup.xaml you need to delete all those other xaml. Only the main platform xaml should be there. LB does not make those backups. Usually those are done if you use Skraper. If the answer is "No" to this question then we can proceed with further troubleshooting.

I have a BBC Master 128 with the standard ROM installed. This includes ADFS v1.50 in slot "D". I want to replace this ADFS in ROM with a patched version, loaded from disk, into Sideways RAM. It is a 16K .bin file. The patched version is needed to support my IDE interface. I think the standard ADFS in ROM just supports SCSI.
