Benefits_of_Motopacing.html)
How:
-At least three riders needed.
-Motorcycle sets the pace at 25 mph on a relatively closed and safe
course (loop around the air station.)
-Every 20 seconds motorcycle honks the horn.
-Leading rider sprints around the motorcycle on the horn blast at
maximum effort then falls back into draft of pace line.
Schedule of Events:
0740-0800: Warm-up (this will be the only time you see 20 mph until
warm-down)
0800-0900: Conduct of motopace drills (25+ mph)
0900-0930: Warm-down
I am looking for two more riders at a minimum to accomplish this
training. Raymond Szpara (non-BE) has agreed to volunteer his
motorcycle and time for this, so please RSVP to
rodney....@usmc.mil by Thursday. Regrets are also welcomed with
different proposed time/location.
Depending on interest, I will coordinate getting onto MCAS in a
separate correspondence.
Train safely.
