September 29th ride

Here's a ride I would like to do on Saturday, September 29th, and you are all welcome to come along:

Route:
- Start in front of the Parris Island gym at 0800 (breakfast at Subway beforehand is optional)
- Ride out to Hunting Island State Park via Lady's Island bridge & Sea Island Pkwy
- Take a short comfort break, make head calls, eat/hydrate, etc., 15-20 minutes tops
- Ride back to Parris Island (lunch afterward is optional.  good thing the gym has showers.)

Distance = approx 50 miles
Pace = sustainable pace, under 20mph (we're not going to kill it, but it will be a good, steady pace)

Sounds like a good ride. Unfortunately, I'm going to be out of town this weekend and then I'll be on leave out of the country for the next three weeks, but I'm always up for long weekend rides when I get back.
