Exhibitor wedding fair costs

Hi all you wedding car owners, As you know we as car owners advertise the wedding event by just being there outside the venue. What seems to be happening at the present time is that independant companies are offering to organise the wedding fair for the Hotel/Castle/or any other business type. The Hotel etc offers the venue free to these companies who then contact exhibitors like me and you at very escalated prices, for example, I did a wedding fair earlier this year and the cost was £49 inc vat and because I was advertising the event the venue said we wont charge you so I stood for free. This week I have been contacted by an independent company for the same venue for January next year and they want £150, not sure if vat is included. I think if we car owners stood together and told these people that we will only pay up tp a maximum figure of say £75 inc vat it might work. The venue owners wont like it if no cars are outside to advertise the event. Incidently I think I was lucky to get a freebe and dont expect that. I set my budget at the figure mentioned and some companies bring there price down to suit my requirements. If we stand together I'm sure it will work. The venue I mentioned is now taking it up with the new company as they want me back and were so shocked at the price I have been asked to pay. Any comments would be appreciated.
