Following my post on insurance, thanks for all the advice.

I have gone with Backford Bloor, the premium came in less than half of Footman James quote, the only thing not included is public liability insurance, anyone recommend a suitable company for liability insurance?

Hi Baz, Glad that I was of help, regarding public liability, I seem to have it with Backford Bloor. The policy is underwritten by KGM motor insurance, I have attached the section of the policy ie section 1 liability to others. I only have one car so this may be why it not offered to you. If they cant do it for you, I use another company for public liability for another business I have www.simplybusiness.co.uk hope this is of help to you. Would appreciate the outcome.

Sorry, can't help on the public liability as mine is included in my premium but just to add something to this topic, a friend of mine has been contacted by Direct Chauffeur Line this week and they can't renew his premium yet as they have a 'gap'  of around 4 weeks in who underwrites the policies. Wonder what happens to those people whose policies are overlapping these times?
