This isn't just incremental, it's a major rework of the UI, grinding down of resources, and addition of features. Here's the skinny:
WearOS:
- Sample editing — trim start/end and reverse, non-destructive. Record on watch, shape the sound.
- Quick Menu redesigned — 2-column grid, swipe down to dismiss, new GENERATE section separates groove packs, randomize, and Euclidean from your saved slots.
- Bezel now stays on drum pages — no more accidentally hitting tempo while navigating.
- Sample slots — recorded samples now save and restore with your beat slots.
- Song mode warns you if banks are empty before cycling. Bank fill dots show which banks have patterns at a glance.
- Splash screen is much reduced (800ms). App loads instantly.
Android:
- Sample editing — trim start/end and reverse on the SMPL row, with a clean slider dialog. Non-destructive; original recording preserved.
- Sample slots — recorded samples now save and restore with your beat slots (A–D).
- Slot indicators — filled slots show a dot in LOAD and SAVE menus so you always know what's where.
- GENERATE split from LOAD — randomize, Euclidean, and groove packs now have their own section.
- Song mode warns you before cycling if any banks are empty.
- Bank fill indicators show which banks have patterns without switching to them.
I heard from some of you that it's extremely intuitive, and from others that it's got a steeo learning curve. The addition of beat packs should make it much easier to get started.
Enjoy! And do let me know what you think.
